It is my great honor to welcome you to the 24th International Conference of the Genetics Society of Thailand (iGST2026) and the 3rd Asian Genetics Consortium Conference 2026 (AGCC 2026). Under the theme of "Genomics for World Biodiversity and Sustainability," we are pleased to host you here in Bangkok, Thailand. The conference is hosted by The Genetics Society of Thailand (GST) and The Department of Pathology, Faculty of Medicine Ramathibodi Hospital, Mahidol University, and co-hosted by The Royal College of Pathologists of Thailand and The College of Pharmacogenomics and Precision Pharmacy (CPPGx), The Royal College of Pharmacy, Mahidol University.
On this auspicious occasion, we would like to pay tribute to Her Majesty Queen Sirikit, the Queen Mother of Thailand, who is revered as the "Mother of Thai Biodiversity" for her lifelong dedication to environmental conservation, watershed restoration, and the protection of endangered species. Key aspects of her legacy include pioneering initiatives in wildlife sanctuaries, mangrove protection, and marine turtle conservation, as well as the "Small House in the Big Forest" project. Her Majesty's efforts in balancing conservation with the well-being of the Thai people have left a long-lasting impact on the nation.
The conference, therefore, will cover critical topics including genomics for sustainable agriculture (animal, plant, and environmental genomics), genomics for health and life sciences (genomic medicine, precision medicine, microbial genetics), and population genetics/genomics for conservation and biodiversity.
I would like to thank all the speakers, participants, the organizing committee, and staff for making this conference possible. I am confident that the conference will be valuable, engaging, fruitful, and a great success.

On behalf of the Department of Pathology, Faculty of Medicine-Ramathibodi Hospital, Mahidol University, it is my great honor and pleasure to welcome you all to the 24th International Conference of the Genetics Society of Thailand (iGST2026) and the 3rd Asian Genetics Consortium Conference (AGCC 2026).
This year, we gather under the timely and vital theme, "Genomics for World Biodiversity and Sustainability." As we navigate an era of rapid environmental and technological change, the role of genomics has never been more critical—not only in advancing human health but also in preserving the delicate balance of our planet’s biodiversity.
The Department of Pathology of Faculty of Medicine-Ramathibodi Hospital is proud to serve as a co-host for this prestigious event. Our department stands at the forefront of medical laboratory services in Thailand, providing comprehensive genetic testing across hereditary conditions, infectious diseases, oncology, and the evolving field of pharmacogenomics. Beyond our clinical service, we are deeply committed to nurturing the next generation of specialists through our graduate and postgraduate programs, ensuring that our research translates directly into improved patient care and sustainable health solutions.
We are also privileged to collaborate with the Genetics Society of Thailand and our esteemed co-hosts: the Royal College of Pathologists of Thailand and the College of Pharmacogenomics and Precision Pharmacy (CPPGx). This partnership underscores the multidisciplinary approach required to harness the full potential of genomic science.
I hope this conference serves as a dynamic platform for exchanging ideas, sparking innovation, and strengthening professional bonds. May the insights gained here contribute to a more sustainable world and a healthier future for all.
Once again, welcome to Bangkok. I wish you a productive and inspiring conference.

It is my great pleasure, on behalf of the Organizing Committee, to welcome you to the 24th International Conference of the Genetics Society of Thailand (iGST 2026) and the 3rd Asian Genetics Consortium Conference 2026 (AGCC 2026). We are honored to host this distinguished international conference in Bangkok, Thailand, under the theme "Genomics for World Biodiversity and Sustainability."
This year's theme reflects the growing importance of genomics as a driving force in addressing some of the world's most pressing challenges. From conserving biodiversity and protecting ecosystems to advancing precision medicine, sustainable agriculture, and environmental resilience, genomic science continues to transform the way we understand and improve life on our planet. By bringing together experts from diverse disciplines, we hope to foster meaningful dialogue, encourage interdisciplinary collaboration, and inspire innovative solutions for a more sustainable future.
Our scientific program features keynote lectures, symposia, oral and poster presentations covering a wide spectrum of genetics and genomics research. We trust that the conference will provide valuable opportunities for scientific exchange, professional networking, and the establishment of new international collaborations.
We cordially invite researchers, scientists, clinicians, educators, and students to submit their abstracts and share their latest research at 24th iGST and 3rd AGCC 2026. This conference provides an excellent opportunity to present innovative findings, exchange ideas with international experts, and establish valuable research collaborations. Abstract submissions are welcomed in the following three scientific tracks:
Track 1: Genomics for Sustainable Agriculture, Animal Genomics, Plant Genomics, and Environmental Genomics, including Biodiversity
Track 2: Genomics for Health and Life Sciences, Genomic Medicine, Precision Medicine, and Microbial Genetics
Track 3: Population Genetics and Genomics for Conservation and Biodiversity
We warmly encourage you to contribute your work and join us in advancing genomic research for the benefit of biodiversity, sustainable development, and human health. We look forward to welcoming you to Bangkok, Thailand, for an inspiring and rewarding scientific experience.
On behalf of the Organizing Committee, I would like to express my sincere gratitude to our distinguished speakers, sponsors, scientific committee members, volunteers, and all participants for your invaluable support and contributions.
