   General information

  • Abstract submission is now open!

  • The iGST-AGCC 2026 poster session is a forum for presentation of research findings and must include at least some original new data not previously presented at a national or international meeting. Accepted abstracts will be considered for either poster and/or oral presentation based on the author's preference

  • Abstracts should be related to Human & Medical Genetics (Human and Medical Genetics, human Molecular genetics, Human and Medical Cytogenetics, Genomics and Precision Medicine, Oncogenetics, Pharmacogenomics and Personalized Medicine, Drug and Vaccine Discovery, and Forensic Genetics), Agricultural and Applied Genetics (Agricultural Biotechnology, Plant Genetics and Breeding, Animal Wildlife, Fish and Shellfish Genetics, Biodiversity, Population and Evolutionary Genetics, Environmental and Conservation Genetics, Genetics and Biosafety, Biotechnology and Synthetic Biology, and Bioinformatics and Systems Biology).

  • Abstract grading is done by peer-review and abstracts will be selected on the basis of scientific merit.

  • Abstracts must be submitted by August 15, 2026.

  • Notification of abstract acceptance will be sent out in August.

  • The presenting author of an accepted abstract must register for the conference.

  • Presenters are responsible for all expenses related to their participation in the conference, including transportation, registration fees, lodging, and meals.

  • Accepted abstracts will be published in the conference proceedings

  • After the abstract submission deadline, abstracts may not be revised or resubmitted.


   Guidelines for Abstract Submission

Please read the submission rules BEFORE submitting an abstract.

  1. Abstracts should be related to Human & medical Genetics (Human and Medical Genetics, human Molecular genetics, Human and Medical Cytogenetics, Genomics and Precision Medicine, Oncogenetics, Pharmacogenomics and Personalized Medicine, Drug and Vaccine Discovery, and Forensic Genetics), Agricultural and Applied Genetics (Agricultural Biotechnology, Plant Genetics and Breeding, Animal Wildlife, Fish and Shellfish Genetics, Biodiversity, Population and Evolutionary Genetics, Environmental and Conservation Genetics, Genetics and Biosafety, Biotechnology and Synthetic Biology, and Bioinformatics and Systems Biology).

  2. Authors must indicate their preference for oral or e-poster presentations on the submission form.

  3. Before submitting the abstract, the presenting author must ensure that all co-authors are aware of its content and agree to its submission.

  4. Abstracts must be original and must not have been published or presented in any prior meetings. However, an abstract used before but developed another aspect of research findings with different viewpoints will be acceptable.

  5. Abstracts must be submitted in English

  7. The conference registration of the presenting author is required.

  8. Please indicate in the abstract form whether the author fulfills the criteria and would like to apply for the young investigator award or travel grant

  9. Fill in the submission form and provide information as indicated.

  10. Figure or table is limited to only one image in JPG, GIF, or PNG format and should be submitted as an attached file via email with a maximum size of 500 KB.

  11. Use only standard abbreviations. Special or unusual abbreviations should be placed in parentheses after the whole word the first time they appear.

  12. Use generic names of drugs. Commercial promotional content is prohibited.
